July 2008: Latin Eyes & Interview

Latin Eyes & Interview
March 1997

This is the line-up of SAILOR with:
~ Peter Lincoln (lead vocals, guitar), Henry Marsh (Nickelodeon), Phil Pickett (bass Nickelodeon), Grant Serpell (drums)

This TV show was named "Oldie Parade" and was recorded in March 1997 and broadcast some weeks later. Here you can see an interview with Peter, Henry, Phil and Grant plus their then new song "Latin Eyes". Another summer-song...

I hope you'll enjoy this one. Picture quality is not the best, but it's funny. And I guess non-German viewers can also understand most of the interview.
I've mostly had videos from the original SAILOR line-up so far (70s and 90s), so I thought it's time for something a bit newer again. We have so many great and funny videos of all line-ups... It's always a difficult decision.

From YouTube:
One of my very favorites with Peter singing lead. When I sing along with the CD I always end up changing the lyrics to "hungry for your lovin', crazy 'bout your Geordie eyes!"

This is the greatest Sailor song that is not written by Georg. I love it!:)

Great song with that pure Italian feeling! :) The moderator of this TV show, is that Uwe Bahn?

Great song and video. Why were Sailor never really appreciated in the UK as much as they were in other parts of Europe! :)
